The tools and tech we use in our Boston practice is to give our patients the best possible care available today. Here are some examples of the tech we use in office.
IV sedation
We offer IV sedation to those who feel extra anxious about their procedure. This type of anesthesia is administered through an IV and let patients feel relaxed during their procedure, making them more comfortable and less likely to feel pain.
Cone beam
computed
tomography (CBCT)
This 3D imaging tool assess the bone and teeth. CBCT scans provide more detailed images than traditional 2D x-rays, and can be more helpful in planning dental procedures, such as dental implants.
Trios intraoral
scanning
Trios is a type of intraoral scanner that is used to create digital impressions of the teeth. Digital impressions are more accurate than traditional impressions, which can be helpful in planning dental procedures and making dental restorations.
Tunneling
Tunneling is a surgical technique that is used to create a path for dental implants. Tunneling is often used when there is not enough bone to support a traditional dental implant.
Guided surgery
Guided surgery is a type of surgery that uses a computer-generated guide to help place dental implants. Guided surgery can help to ensure that dental implants are placed in the correct position, which can improve the success of the procedure.
All-on-4 Dental
Implants
Immediate load hybrids or All-on-4 dental implants are dental implants that are placed and restored immediately. This style of dental implants can be a good option for patients who need to replace multiple teeth and who want to get back to their normal activities as soon as possible.
Immediate implants
Immediate implants are dental implants that are placed immediately after a tooth is extracted. They can be a good option for patients who want to replace a missing tooth as quickly as possible.
